Marta

In Esperanza Rising, Marta told the farmworkers who lived at the labor camp that they deserved better living conditions, and that they should join the labor strike by refusing to work. Many of the workers yelled at her and told her that they needed the jobs, and they did not want to do anything that might cause them to get fired.

Is Marta a trouble-maker, like some of them say? Or is she a hero who is trying to help the people?

How could she help people if she stirs up trouble?

The question got me thinking I

The question got me thinking. I think she is not a hero.

I think Marta isn't a hero.

I think Marta isn't a hero. I think she just wants to destroy the camp and get people fired. If Marta and her famliy wants better pay then find other camp and not at the labor camp that Ezprazna at. why would somebody want to do that.
