The Little house in the Big Woods

The main characters in this book are Ma, Pa, Laura, Mary, and Baby Carrie. Ma likes to knit. Pa likes to hunt, play the fiddle and tell stories to Laura and Mary. Mary and Laura like to play with their raggedy dolls and listen to stories from Pa. Baby Carrie isn’t in the story a lot. I thought that the author did a good job about telling her childhood.

The place where it took place was in the Wisconsin woods. If you like books that are non-fiction, fiction, and history books, the best thing in the book that I thought were the chapter The Two Big Bears. It is about a tree that looks a bear. Then Pa grabs a club and hits it. Then he noticed it was a tree.

I enjoy the story.

I really Liked what you said about that book. I read it and it is a really nice story. I like the chapter The Deer in the wood. I like how you told about the book you read.
