One day me and my class went on a field trip to a fire department to see the fire trucks. When we got there we got to go to where they stay and play. They have a pool table and nine comfortable chairs. Our class got to sit in them. When we went back down there we got to slide down the pole. We got to go in a fire truck. We got to sit in the seats and we also got to stick the gear on ourselves. When we were there they heard a fire was very big so they went to the fire and we got to watch them slide down the pole and get all of their stuff on to go to the fire to be safe. When they left we finished the tour and then left.

When me and my parents went to see my uncle he was still at work so we got to see his work. Down in Tok my uncle Tom works for the fire department. Down in Tok they drive green fire trucks.

In 2005 in Nenana there was alot of smoke from a big fire.

Fire can be cool because one time we burnt old dogs houses and there was a big blue flame. So we made it littler with the hose.
