Boggey and Rylie

My Aunt Ran's dogs, Boggey and Rylie, are airdales. They are very big dogs.

Boggey likes to go with the flow. He lets you be near his food, and things like that. He's nicer than Rylie. Boggey is allergic to everything we eat. So if you give him our food (not dog food) he will swell up.Some times if he gets to much of your food he's tail is like a little balloon. Because of all of his allergies when you feel his skin it's all greasy.

Rylie is older than Boggey. Rylie does not like you to be near his food. (So if you want to give him his food you have to put him into the spare room.) Rylie is usually nice, but if you play with Boggey too much he will growl, because he wants attention. (But all he's getting is negative attention!) Rylie is really nice when Boggey is not around any way!

My Pets

I have a mouse. Her name is Harley, and she is very sweet. I also have a dog. His name is Peanutbutter. We used to have a dog named Lightningbug Charley. Lightningbug was ran over by a boat, by accident. So Lightningbug is not with us anymore. But now the family has Peanutbutter, and I have Harley.

Peanutbutter is the same kind of dog as Lightningbug Charly, but they are different in many ways. Lightningbug had a kind of heavy coat, and Peanutbutter has a very light coat.

The Big Tests

Yesterday we finshed the BIG tests (Well thats what the teachers called them anyway!) The tests were about seeing how well the school was teaching us. There were 3 tests, the biggest of them all was Reading. An then there were two that were the same size, Math and Writing. I think that Writing was the hardest. Then there was Reading wasn't so bad, I liked it a little bit. Math, math was the best subject for me. It was so easy that I finshed it in forty minutes. I love math so I was glad that a part of the test was math.

Ralph S. Mouse Summary

Ralph S. Mouse by Beverly Cleary is about Ralph, who is a little mouse. Ralph loves motorcycles and cars. He lives in the Mountain View Inn under the grandfather clock with a bunch of little cousins.

One night Ralph went to go get his motorcycle. Then he started it, "Vrooom!, Vrooom!" he went, as he was starting it.

Then his little cousins where whining about Ralph not letting them ride the motorcycle. "Why cant we ride it!?" the little cousins whined.

"Because you're too little!" Ralph said in a rude voice. Ralph did not like that his little cousins wanted to ride his motorcycle.

When I went to Canada

One morning my mom got my little sister and me up at 3:00 in the morning. Then our dad carried us out to the car. My dad wrapped me up in my blanket. I said good-by to my dad, and we were off!

I fell halfway asleep as we drove though North Pole. My little sister asked if we were there yet. I told her that it mostly takes 12 hours to get there, but it would probably take us about 14 hours because of all the pit-stops. My little sister gasped.

"14 hours!" she said.

We went to Wendy's for breakfast. Then we got to Delta. We turned left to go straight to Canada. If we had turned right we would have gone straight to Summit Lake. (Thats where my cabin is.)

When I Went to the Alaska Room.

I got to go to the Alaska room at Ladd Elementary. I got to go to all of the three stations.

First I went to the beading station. I made one mistake when I was there. Then what I did there was I made a Athabascan quiver. It was actually a bit hard, but it was fun!

At the second station I got to make a Aleut hunting hat. I had to chose four Aleut patterns to put on my hat, and I had to put a animal on the front. I was going to put a wolf but I didn't want to copy Taylor because she already did a wolf. So I just put a fox, and it turned out pretty good.

I learned about how boys and men went hunting. When they would come back to their tent, the girls and women would strip the animals, and no part of a animal was wasted. I also learned about the Aleut patterns, and that was very fun.

Then I learned how to make a quiver. It was hard because I had never made one before so I made one or two mistakes.... like not knowing how to undo sewing.

The last thing I had to do was making the medallion. I messed up three times. The most hard part was asking for help. It turned out pretty good.

I'm glad I got to go there even if I made a couple mistakes.
