For Christmas I got a r/c helicopter but we were in Anchorage and we could not find the remote when we got to our house in Fairbanks. So we ordered a new one. Last night it came in, and I started flying it as soon as I got home from hockey. Then I had to go to bed because it was ten o'clock at night. So when I got up this morning I got ready for school and then flew my helicopter. This weekend I am going to flying it a lot more.

Today I am going to tell you about my weekend that is going to happen.

Today, Feb. 3, 2012, it is my cousins birthday. She is having her birthday at a hotel, and of course I was invited. We will have pizza and drinks. Then we are able to go swimming in the pool because this hotel has a pool in it. I am so excited that her birthday is today.

Once I get home, I am going to pack my bag with everything I need to bring there. I was super happy when I was told that I was able to go.

It was Saturday December 22nd when I was playing one of my games. I was finishing lots of levels on my game. It was 10 clock and I was still playing my game, and my mom was playing a card game on the computer when it hit. At 10:05 the unexpected happened. The POWER WENT OUT. It happened Everywhere: the TV, my mom's computer, my TV, and the wii and Xbox. When all of that happened
I freak out. When it was pitch black in the house, I went like, WHAT THE HECK? and ran out of the room. And when I ran 2 steps I
tripped on a soft thing. It was Rex my pet dog; she sometimes sits
by the door and waits for me to play with her.

I talk to my mom. She said this power is going to be out for hours. It was 11:30 and the power was sill out. I started to get cold. I put two blankets on me. I HATE IT WHEN THE POWER GOES OUT because it gets really cold. When it was about to get colder the power got back on again and I was happy it's back, and everything went back on again.

And the cool thing the power went on the exact moment at
12:00 clock that was a kinda cool because everything happens at 12:00 clock. I was happy that the power was back on. I just HOPE it won't happened again.

This weekend I went to my grandma's house. It was crazy! I had so much to do.

After school on Friday, my dad picked up my brother and I. After that we went straight to my grandma's. When we got there I greeted my grandma, and asked her if she needed help with anything. She said no, so I went to see what my grandpa was doing. He was watching tv. Of course. So I watched what he was watching. Of course he was watching Ancient Aliens. It's this tv show where they try to find evidence of aliens being here. It's actually a really interesting show, but some of the stuff they show I really don't believe it. There is another show that my grandpa watches that's called Decoded. It's about when the Mayan calendar ends, but that's a whole other story.

After that I called my cousin to see if she was coming. So I called. It rang, rang, and rang till she finally answered. She said she was at her friend's house. So that was a total bummer, but she said she would be there tomorrow to make cookies!

SATURDAY
My grandma and I started to make the cookies. It was going to take us a few hours. We were going to make three types of cookies. First we had to roll these coconut balls then put them in the refrigerator, then dip them in chocolate. Then we made these cookies called buckeyes. Pretty much all the ingredients are sugar, butter, and peanut butter. Then you roll it in balls, then dip it in chocolate. Next we made sugar cookies. I don't know all the ingredients, but I know you have to cook them. The other, you don't have to cook.

A little bit later my cousin finally came over. It was time to decorate the cookies. So, my grandma made some frosting. It's pretty much made out sugar and food coloring but there's something else that's in there that makes it creamy. We had to hurry up because we were going to bring one of the cookie boxes to someone at their work. So, we just put some frosting on the cookies, then put them in a box (also with some peanut brittle), then we sped off to her work.

When we came back from the lady's work, we got some food from Carl's Jr and went home. When we got home we were all so tired, but it was fun. I got to spend time with my family and, also get some pay back on my brother! That's my weekend! Crazy right?

This weekend I'm going to Anchorage. Some people might think, "Whoop-de-do I go to Anchorage all the time." But for me it's exciting. It's exciting because my aunt is having a baby and the baby shower is on Saturday! Also, when things like this happen, my aunt invites most of my family that I don't usually see.

Trick or treating is one of my favorite parts of Halloween, but you have to choose your costume wisely. Most kids will have a coat and snow pants under their costumes that makes everyone look like giant marshmallows! Even though they should be a princess or a pirate.

Last year, my younger brother got the right idea and dressed as a sumo wrestler! It was a blow up costume so he looked completely normal, even with all his snow gear under it. Out of everyone's costumes, no one is as unique as my older brother. This year he got a basketball mask, a cape, and then calls himself an evil basketball man. Who thinks of that?

So now you know, if you ever come trick or treating in Alaska, wear a costume that you can fit snow gear under. If that doesn't work for you, try thinking up something unique, so that you can tell people the snow gear goes with the costume!

One night in 2010,me and my friend Taegan and her grandma walked into Fred Meyer and we wanted to go shop and look at all the things.So she can go shop and buy groceries.So her grandma
told us to meet her in one hour,at cash register 20.

So me and Teagan went off on are little trip,while her grandma was out shopping for groceries.We shopped and looked at stuff,ran around the store.Then,it was past one hour by 5 minutes.

We an to cash register number 20.She wasn't there.So we tried calling her on her cell phone,with ours and she didn't answer.We start freaking out and started crying.

We went up to the customer service people. We told them that we can't find our grandma.They go n the speaker and say,"Attention Fred Meyer shoppers,if your name is Helen Powell, please come to the customer service desk." They said it twice. Her grandma was there and she was furious at us. Because we couldn't find her! She said, "I'm never taking you guys to store with me ever again!" Me and Taegan said sorry and we all paid for our stuff and went home.

There were three kids walking home from trick or treating, and a pumpkin that got carved on Halloween was in the middle of the road. In the pumpkin was carved a skeleton, and it was just sitting in the middle of the road. One of the kids dared a kid to go pick it up. So one kid did. Then a car came with only one headlight working. The car almost hit the kid, but the car swerved and missed the kid. The guy that was driving the car got out and told the kids to get out of the road.

The next night the pumpkin was still there. The owner that carved the pumpkin got the pumpkin and brought it in every night unless if he was so tired that he just went to bed. Then it comes back every year.

This past weekend was really hectic. I went to a Glonrytoyyrtgame and there was also softball tryouts. This is how I started my week.

On Friday afternoon Jenna, and Tana spent the night. We did some crazy things. Jenna and Tana were playing just dance on the Wii. It was really fun and they looked weird too. The next day Saturday, to be exact, was softball tryouts. I was #22 in the line. I got done early so I got to stay and help. Jenna got hungry so she left the gym to go to the vending machine. It was a tiring day. When we got back we went for a walk and then sadly, I broke my phone. :( I was just walking and then it just randomly broke. It was very disappointing.

On Sunday I went to the Harlem Globetrotters game. It was a fake game, but it was funny. At the game I saw Rose and some other people. The Globetrotters were playing "The Washington Generals". When I was sitting with Rose we got water all over us. They also pulled off one of the other guys whole uniform. It was really funny and I got my ball signed by all of the players.

After the game, Rose went home with me and we went to various different places. My mom took us to Safeway, Radio Shack, AT&T, and Walmart. It was really fun until Rose left at like 7. This is what happened in my crazy messed up week.

On what we did this week we did some work and some more work. We also did homework, not that much though. It was a fun this week (some week). We had indoor recess (also fun (some fun)). I played on computers all 30 minutes (45 min.).

All I did this week at home this very week of all the weeks was sleep, eat, school, eat & sleep. Like all the other weeks this was the most fun of all, a substitute came into our class. He was okay, fine, defined & great. He was a nice guy.

Today was a great day. It was also kind of short today. I got my work done which is great. To end this short paragraph I will say today is over bye.

Oh my gosh! Last Thanksgiving Weekend my dad, my (almost step-mom) Phyllis, and her sister, Libby, went to Chena Hot Springs. And boy, let me tell YOU, it was very very very VERY HOT!! After my dad and I arrived, we stepped off onto the indoor jacuzzi. Then, my dad headed outside to see if Phyllis and Libby, who came in separate cars, were in the outside Rock Lake.

As he left, I thought to myself, Hmm, I wonder what the Rock Lake is like. I've heard of it, but I've never actually been to see it, much less been in it because it was an 18-and-older thing.

After a good 5 or 6 or 7 minutes, my dad came back inside and over to the jacuzzi where I was, and said, "Okay, Phyllis and Libby are out there. Let's go."

Last weekend I went to my dad's cabin and I had loads of fun. First, we had to ride our bikes all the way to Sheep Creek road from Farmers Loop. It took a long time but we made it to his cabin.

We had some moose neck soup. It was really yummy. One of my dad's friends got a moose, and dad got the neck. The meat was hard to chew.

Then we went to go feed the chickens. My dad's boss has chickens for the eggs. We feed the chickens bread. Then we went to the chicken pen to check for eggs. I think 2 of the eggs broke but we got the rest.

There was also geese. They were really loud. They wouldn't stop honking. The boss also had 4 big dogs. They were pretty loud, too.

We also went to go set off a firecracker. On the way to the woods to set it, we saw a dead mouse on the ground. Dad said that the cat killed the poor thing. The firecracker that we set was really loud.

My first pet is a dog named Bingo. I was about six when I got him, and I didn't name him!!! My dog is a male miniature schnauzer.

My dog ran away about twenty times. One time I thought he ran away on the last day before I went to my vacation, but he was in the house.

He is a nice dog, but he is not nice to kids. I taught my dog to sit and come. My dog is my favorite and my first pet. I had other pets ahead of him, but he is the best. I've had him for about nine years now; I wonder how much is that for dog years?

I like the weekends it's very fun! When you can stay up late and watch movies with your family. I like to spend time with my family on the weekends.

This weekend my family and I went to Healy. We stayed the night in a cabin on Sunday. Then went to Denali Park on Monday. At Denali we had a picnic by the Savage River. Then we went on a gorgeous hike, following the river though a valley.

One summer day my mom wanted to go to Angel Rock. We got to the bottom of the path and started going up the mountain to get to Angel Rock. We got there after a while and ate our lunch. When we were done we headed back down, my mom said, “No running, or you will fall over the roots!”

But being six years old, I did not like to listen to her and pretended not to hear her. I could see my car and wanted to fly. I started to run and jump up in the air so I could lift off the ground. But I tripped on a rock and rolled all of the rest of the way down.

My knee got all cut open and banged up. There was a big rock stuck in my knee. There was also mud, dirt. I stopped, sooner or later, falling into the stream. I face planted into the water. But I swam to shore and went to get my blanky from the car to warm up til mom made a fire. All my mom could do is wipe it with a baby wipe and put a bandage on it.

So we headed home and Justina and Fred were sleeping. All of a sudden Jaimy said, “Look at that cloud of smoke, I hope it is not our house.” We parked by a field and Jaimy burst in to tears. It was are house that was on fire.

I got 3 new pets on Saturday. I got a bird and 2 fish. I got the bird because my other bird, Monkey, died. My sister named it Camie if it's a girl and Camo if it's boy. She named it that because it is diffrent shads of green. It is a parakeet. My other sister brought home two little goldfish from the ball that will grow really big. I named one Fred and the other one Greg.

One thing I did on Christmas was my mom's boyfriend was saying he still believed in Santa when it was Christmas Eve, and I tried to stay up all night. But at 10:00 at night my parent's went to bed, and then I woke up and just waited at the top of the stairs with my dart gun - waiting. There was a plate of cookies, and milk, but at 4:00 in the morning I dozed off and went to sleep. In the morning my mom's boyfriend was snooping around the cookies and milk, and when I asked him, he said he was just reading the note.

I didn't believe him. After that we opened presents.

This weekend me my mom and my sister went and got some movies from Blockbuster. The movies were Leather Heads and The Happening.

I didn’t like Leather Heads because it was about the uprising of a football team. It is also about how rules were made for football, and it wasn't interesting to me.

I really liked the Happening. It is about how plants can release a neurotoxin that makes you want to die. Some people think it is a warning about the atmosphere but there's not enough proof, at least not yet.

Saturday and Sunday my little brother and I went outside and played tackle football. It was a lot of fun because my little brother is almost as strong as me. So when I tackle him, or he tackles me, it feels like one of my old team mates tackling me or me tackling them. I really like playing tackle football with my brother. I hope we can play today.

When my Sister came in on November 7. It was time for the Fiddle Festival. At first I wanted to hang out with my sister then I wanted to go to the Fiddle Festival. And after a wile my sister came over and said that our uncle wanted us to be security at the Fiddle Festival so I said ok sure. And we went to the Fiddle Festival about 6:00am because we had to clean, cook and set everything up. And people started coming about 1:30.

What I did on the weekend I hanged out with my friend Shayna. She is fun to hang out with! We got wet because it was raining. We played out in the rain. It is fun to hang out with Shayna. We went down to her room and I help her clean her room so we can ride bikes. Also we went into my house and we watch tv. We go to my room and played with my dogs and cats.Shayna and Me had lots of fun together. We are best friends. We both have animals she has one cat and I have one cat two dogs and one bird. And that is what I did on the weekend. THE END!

This weekend I spent the night at my friends house his name is Jack. We had to go to bed early because we had to wake up at 6:00 to go to hockey in North pole. That morning I was so tired that almost didn’t wake up. After hockey practice we watched Jack’s Cousins Game. The game was really close it was 3-2. After that jack’s Dad took me home when I got there I Had to eat something really fast because it was lunch time. Then we had to go pick my sister up at swimming lessons. We had to hurry because my Mom was doing The marathon up at UAF.
