Tennessee

I lived in Tennessee 3 years of my life. I've met some of my best friends there. There a BIG differences between here and there. First of all, in Tennessee it's so humid it feels like you're in a fish tank. Here it's not as humid. Also there it gets to be 100 degrees and here only around 80 to 90 degrees. It also doesn't snow much there. Like here it snows so much it can go over your house!

We lived in a house 20 minutes from town. It took like an hour to get to school from my house so I took a school bus. I was always first on. Anyways, our house was white and the wood was a bit rotted. We had a BIG yard though. We had 2 big trees. One had a swing on it. Our house was so small. My room was about 2 sizes smaller than the room I have now!

Also our house was haunted. Yeah, yeah. I know you're saying "Whatever!" But I was like 4 when I saw a dude on my bed in basketball shorts and curly red hair. And I was not imagining it. My mom saw him too.

We also lived around a corn field and a bean field. One time I was sitting on the porch and a cat came out of the bean field! His ear was half bitten off by something. My mom healed it. After that we gave him food, but he couldn't come inside our house because he might've had fleas. My mom and I went to the store one time, and when we came back the cat was on our porch as stiff as a board and not breathing :( My mom thought she ran him over but that was impossible because he was on the porch and we don't park our car on the porch...

Once there were tornadoes coming to our house so we had to pack some clothes and go to my Aunt Joe's house. Her house was really big and pretty. She had a big kitchen and a living room that was a step lower than anywhere else. Her garden looked like it was enchanted. There were acorns everywhere and lots of pretty flowers. It was very pretty. She also had a crabapple tree, and I would always try and jump to get them.

Those are some of my stories from Tennessee (:

embarrassed

When I was in 1st grade we were studying math and my teacher told me to come answer the question 23-4. I was super shy so I said the anwser from my desk. My teacher told me to go up to the front of the class to show how I got the answer. When I was done showing the problem I ran back to my desk but I tripped and fell. Everyone laughed at me so I ran to my desk and did not talk the rest of the day, but the truth is that I was laughing on the inside.

The Mean Little Ant

When I was little I was very curious. I held things and suffered the consequence. I guess I didn't learn good enough because I held an ant. It looked so cute and nice I didn't bother thinking it was going to bite me. Well it did and I cried because it hurt.

I was so mad at that ant I kept it in a jar and shook it up thinking it would change his ways. When I was done punishing it I took it out and held it again, not thinking it was not going to bite me anymore. I was laughing. I even apologized to the little ant.

As soon as I said I'm sorry, HE BIT ME AGAIN. I was angry this time .I put it on the ground and stepped on it. After that I said to myself, "I'm never holding anything again."

childhood memory

One day my aunt took me and my cousin Angelina to the park, and we stayed there for a couple hours. Then we walked back home and I was really tired, so I went to the couch and laid down, and my cousin found a box filled with stuff, and she dumped everything out. She found a hammer and she came and hit me in the head and it hurt. I started crying. It hurt really bad, so I went to my grandma and she called my mom and said she had to take me to the doctor's because I was bleeding really bad. So my mom came and took me to the doctor's. The doctor looked at my head. She had to spray water so the dry blood can come off, and I was really scared because I didn't want to get stitches, but instead I had to get 3 staples in my head. The doctor tried to give me the staples while I was not asleep but I would not let them, so they had to put me to sleep and when I woke up my head hurt really bad. I had to wear a hat outside so my head would not be in pain.

Days Of Memory

Hi my name is Rose. I do not remember a lot of my childhood, but I do remember some of it. I remember getting a little sister, getting a little brother, going on a cruise, getting stitches and my first day of school. So far I have had so many fun adventures, and I’m looking forward to many more chances to explore.

I was born in the state of Alaska, and in the city of Anchorage. I was born January 18, 2000. My mom was filled with joy when she got to hold me. Even though I was born in Anchorage my hometown is Fairbanks, and I got my first glimpse of Fairbanks three days after I was born.

Six months later on June 12, 2000, I got a little god sister Jariah. My god mom Jen had been best friends with my mom since Jen was 17. Jariah and me were best friends since she was a baby. As soon as I saw her I knew we were going to be best friends.

When I was 4 years and 4 months old I got a little brother. So now I had a big brother, 4 years and 4 months older than me, and a little brother 4 years and 4 months younger than me. My older brother's name is Danny. My brother Dallas got his name because my dad is a Dallas Cowboy fan. Dallas and me are enemies; he is a little monster.

When I was six I had to start packing to go on a cruise ship. My mom, dad, brothers, grandparents, and me all went to Cabo. In Cabo we got on our ship. We went all over Mexico. I was having so much fun on the ship. When we got back to Cabo I went on a jet-ski with my grandpa. While we stayed in Cabo I got to go deep sea fishing. I was so sad when we had to go home but I was happy to sleep in my bed.

When I started kindergarten I was really happy. My mom was sad because I was not sad to be leaving her, so she cried. Even though I was in the Joy district I went I Denali. I went to Denail because my family's good friend worked there. My techer was Mrs. Ritchie. I loved My school then and I still love Denali. Sometimes I wish I was still in kindergarten and others I don’t.

Well that is the end of my story
GOOD BYE

A Time To Remember

Today is October 12, 2011.

Today I got to go to the library to check out books, but there were no books that I liked, so I just looked at all the books. Then Mrs. Ackiss had my class and I sit in our seats and fill out these papers about vampires. There were lots of funny ones by all the kids in my class. When we were done filling them out, Mrs. Ackiss read them out loud. They were super funny, them we had to go back to our class room.

My teacher had us do this really fun social studies book sort of thing. We had to use three blank sheets of paper and cut them to make a small book. Then after we would write some facts, my teacher said that we had to draw a picture on each of the ten pages.

Then we went out to recess and I played with my friends. I was kind of bored, but my friends found something for me to do.

Football Years

When I was six I played flag football. Two years later I played tackle football. I was not that good, but that is ok. Three years later I played for the junior league

My life

Hi, my name is Kool Kat and this is my life.

The first thing that comes to mind is when I was two. I fell down the stairs. I don't know exactly what happened, but what I do know is that I was laughing the whole time.

When I was about four I rode my horse, Soli, for the first time. It was very exiting! To this day I am still riding and owning a horse.

A little before that I started preschool at Headstart Elementary. At first I felt scared because I was worried that I wouldn't make any friends. Then I made one really good friend.

On May 27, 2007 I had a birthday. Most of my friends were there. Just about all of my family was there.

Then in 4th grade I met this awesome, funny, pretty girl. We soon became close friends and now we are in 6th grade and are best friends!

The Experience

In my life I have had some crazy things happen to me. I also have had some awesome, happy, and sad times. Most of my life has been good.

To start the summary I will start at my first hockey practice. When I was six years old I had my first hockey practice ever. I got there and was so excited that I couldn’t wait to get on the ice. I also couldn’t wait to put on my hockey gear for the first time.

The second thing on my timeline is the first time jet skiing. When I went jet skiing for the first time, I only went thirty-five mph but now I go seventy mph. I also pull tubes and knee boards. I also do slalom courses and drag race them with my dad.

The fourth thing on my timeline is when I did a back flip off the swing in the playground. When I did a back flip off the swing I flipped off and sat there on my head. After about one minute I lifted my head and said that hurt.

The last thing on my timeline is when I went knee boarding for the first time. The first time I went knee boarding was this summer. I went on Harding Lake. I also went all the way from one side to the other.

I’m only eleven but had a pretty good life.

My Timeline Up to the Sixth Grade

My name is cherriez. I was born on June 16, 2000, I was also born in Annapolis, Maryland. Funny thing is, Link was born in the same place, same year, and eight years later we magically ended up in the same place, Fairbanks, Alaska. I think that Maryland must’ve been a pretty good place to live considering that most of my family pictures or, solo pictures are there.

My mom, whom I love dearly, was a photographer but now works at the hospital. My dad, whom I also love dearly, is a sales associate. My brother is still in school, and based on the fact I’m writing to you today, so am I. I’m not counting this as an introduction because of the fact I’ve already started.

In 2004 I started preschool for the first time ever in a new school. Kindergarten was probably the scariest year of my life, because everyone looks, acts and feels forty years older than you.after a while though, I warmed up to the fact that school can be fun sometimes. Whether it was the
wacky dance we did where you stuck out your tongue, spun around in circles and yelling ATUNIE-TA ATUNI-TA, or the constant laughter and friendliness that got me making more friends.

When I was nine the best week of my life happened... WE WENT TO HAWAII!! While we were there we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center, went to a show, had a luau and so many other things I’d have to get out my camera to remember them all! my favorite thing I did was either go out shopping, (We had a mall in our hotel!) or spending time by the pool not having to worry about schoolwork or chores for a relaxing and fun week.

If you're reading this and you're an adult you know how good it feels to finally be on top whether (some school’s vary from town to town) 6th, 7th or 8th grade, it’s awesome to finally say, “Next year I’m outta here!” Well that’s what I get to say this year. I’m hoping it’s all it’s cracked up to be. (My brother “cracked” it up. I guess) Sadly, I still have six more years until college.

Childhood memory

My name is Socca and here is my life story.
I moved from North Carolina to Fairbanks at the age of 8. I wasn’t very excited but I had to do it no matter what. The reason why I had to move because my mom was a travel nurse and we were going to go to Barrow but we would have to live in the hospital so my mom said Fairbanks it is.

When I got to Fairbanks I had to come see my school, I was supposed to go to Denali in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th. But I wasn’t in the district so I had to go to Hunter. The reason I didn't like Hunter because you didn't learn anything at that school. I was so mad when I found out I couldn't go to Denali.

When I went to North Carolina for Christmas break there was a garden snake in my grandma's garden and I ran to her garage and got a shovel and stabbed at it and it coughed up blood. After the head came off the body still moved around so I stabbed it again until it stopped moving.

When I was in 5th grade I almost flunked so when I made it to 6th grade and got the teacher I wanted I was so happy. My aunt told me about Mr. Noon. I also heard that he pushes you until a certain point.

That’s my life story.

My Life of Wonders

First I was born. I was born the year 1999, the month November, and the day the 13th. So the date of my birth would be, 11-13-99.

I was living my life perfect until my brother came along! I’m joking. I really love my brother; he’s a really good kid. My brother, Shane, was born the date of his birth is 2-5-03. My brother now is 8 years old, and I would never be the same without him.
When I was about 9 years old, I got my first dog, Tinker Bell. Well she wasn’t my first dog, but she was the one I would see every day all the time. My dog, Tinker Bell (Tinker for short) is 3 years old. The reason why we named her Tinker Bell is because her ears were literally bigger than her body, and we thought she could just fly away!

When I was about 9 years old, I did ballet. I also did ballet when I was 3 yrs. old, but I don’t remember. I had ballet class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I would go to dance class from 5:00pm-7:00pm. After the whole ballet practice for a while, we got to be in the Nut Cracker! (It’s a play!). Everybody was so excited, but I didn’t want to do it any more, so I quit.

It was my cousin’s birthday. It was also an hour before New Years (she was born on the first day of the year.) My cousin and I were lighting fireworks. She was turning 13 years old. We had to put the fireworks in a tube before we lit it. I put one in the tube, and it tipped over I got so scared. My grandma and I started to run from the fireworks. Luckily we didn’t get burned, but my cousin was laughing so hard her face looked like the firework.

Now my last thing to tell you about is when I started 6th grade! 6th grade is the last grade of elementary school. This year is very special for me. This year, it’s the sixtieth “birthday” for Denali Elementary (that’s where I go to school). I’ve been at Denali for 7 years. That’s from kindergarten to 6th grade. So this year I get to graduate from 7 years of going to Denali and celebrating Denali’s sixtieth birthday.

The Bike

The Bike by Lollipop

One day I was riding my bike to Madeleine's house. We were going to go to Denali to play. So I went to her house and we watched tv and then we got on are bikes and started to ride there. We got to this sidewalk and there was a fire hydrant and a stop sign. I looked back to see if she was behind me, and I ran into the fire hydrant I flew. It felt like I was dreaming. I finally landed like 2 feet away. I landed on my wrist. It was cricked and out of place. It hurt so bad!!!! I was screaming!! I told Madeleine to hurry and go get her mom.

These girls that were at softball practice ran over and let me call my mom. She told me that I was going to be fine and to shake it off.So then Madeleine’s mom came in the car together and she dropped me and Madeleine off at my house. My dad stared at my wrist. He told my mom to take me to Urgent Care.
So we got to the hospital and I had to get a lot of x rays and while the doctor was looking at the x rays we all waited in silence. The doctor came in and he put my arm in a splint. And he said, “Lollipop, you broke your arm”. My mom’s jaw dropped. She was stunned. The only thing I could say was, "Ha ha I told you so." So the next day I got my splint taken off and I had to get a cast. I picked blue. My arm looked deformed. It was black and blue and yellow. It hurt so bad. Thank God I didn’t break one of my legs!!!!!!

when I grow up

When I was little my mom always used to ask me what do I want to be when I grow up. I used to tell her a chef, fire fighter, hair stylist, and much more that I probably don’t remember. But now I really know what and who I want to be. I want to be a fashion designer. I've been wanting to be one for my whole life.

What inspired me to be one is on the TV. I watch tv all the time and on the commercials they have people who go to college and get a degree and they do fashion, and they are too good at it, and they have beautiful clothes. And that's what made me like fashion.

I have several books and pages of my fashion. My favorite thing to make is dresses. I love making dresses because they flow on the persons body. My favorite fashion designer is Kimora Lee Simons. She is the one who made Baby Phat. My favorite shoe designer is Vannesa Simons and Angela Simons. The people who made those brands are family to each other. My cousin and I always make fashion together and we like having fun. Sometimes we have competition against each other, and see who’s outfit looks the best.

When I first heard the word Fashion I knew that I was gonna like it. My mom is going to by me a sewing machine this Christmas and I'm going to have sewing lessons. I can’t wait until this Christmas because I get to get another fashion book.

Broken arm

Bad break [Apr 22]

How I broke My Arm:

One day I came home from after school program at Anne Wien Elementary school. My dad came and picked me up for football practice so my dad and I went home. So I got ready; then went and grabbed my bike, so I can wait for my dad. I rode my bike down the street and tried to put my feet on the front pegs and balance; then I fell. It was very painful.

When I fell I placed my arm out. Suddenly I hear a big crack!!! I closed my eyes for a second. Then I opened them and then I looked at my arm. It was huge, right on my wrist. My sister came outside and ran to me, and then I told her to get dad, so she did. My dad came out and ran to me, and picked me up, and he took me to the car. Then I ran inside and asked my mom where are my keys?

She asked why. So he said because Corey broke his arm. My mom said what, are you serious? My dad said yes. So my dad found his keys. So my dad and mom and I went to the hospital. I got my cast. My mom put a flame design on it. Then the next day I went to school and let every one sign my cast even my teacher and all my best friends. That’s how I broke my arm.

My Poor Finger

In kindergarten, after school, Naomi and I were going to my friend’s house. His name was Alex. Donna, his mom, was going to baby-sit Naomi and me.

When I got out of the Durango, I wasn’t paying any attention to the door and smashed my poor middle finger, on my left hand. I screamed and wailed so loud I thought that the penguins could hear me.

My mom thought I slipped on the ice and fell, but when she got to the other side of the Durango, she saw that my finger was lodged in the door. She unlocked my door, buckled me in, dropped of Naomi, and rushed me to the emergency room.

When we got there, they cleaned my finger (It really tickled). Then, I had to have an x-ray on my finger to see if I had any broken bones.

The good news was that I my finger wasn’t broken. They had to glue my skin back together because a little bit of skin was missing.

After gluing my skin together, I got a Loony Toon band-aid and it was Taz. Mom took me back to Donna’s house to be baby-sat.

This time, she opened my door, shut my door, carried me in Donna’s house, and dropped me off. And that’s how I my finger got smashed.

My Two Kittens

When I was four, I got two kittens. One of them was called Spaz and the other kitten was called Holstein. I thought Lewis and Clark were better names. When we got home I got to hold both of the baby cats at different times. I loved the kittens so much I had them sleep with me.

Then one year later, Spaz got sick. We took him to the vet and they had to put him down because of kidney failure. They even let me see him before the medicine killed him. I still have his ashes from the day he died. I can’t stop mourning over Spaz, sometimes.

I felt bad for Holstein because his brother died at the age of one year old. Holstein is still alive; thank goodness for that. My dad got rid of Holstein because he kept peeing on the couch.

I still miss both of my cats and love them dearly. I hope that one day I can have another cat to love.

FLORIDA

If I got a plane ticket to go anywhere I wanted, I think I would go to Florida. I think I would go to Florida because I really like the weather. Some days it can get up to 110 degrees, and the moisture in the air makes it feel even more hot. When it gets really hot, my family and I like to go to the beach.

It is really fun to go surfing and just play in that water, and some times crabs will even crawl out of the ground and chase you around. Surprisingly, they can run really fast.

Another thing that I really like about Florida is all the really big amusement parks and water parks; they are really fun because they have really big roller coasters and water slides! Some of them are kinda scary, but they are still really fun :). They are also really expensive, especially if you have lots of people with you.

And in Florida, things cost a lot more than they do here because they have sales tax. That is money that you have to pay to the government.

Also there are lots of random animals in Florida. Like sometimes frogs will get into your car, or if you leave your shoes outsidem they will just stay in there. Then when you put your shoes on, they will hop out.

my weekend

My weekend was a good weekend cause I went to my dad's house and we rented a movie called Jennifer's Body and it was a good movie but it was a horror so I am not going to talk about it, but if you are into horror movies I would recommend it to everyone who loves those movie to rent that. Anyway my week was a cool weekend because I got to choose where I want my party was at my house waiting that horror movie and eating pizza and some of the girls will spend the night and others will go home.

Now we are in school and we are learning how weather is, and we just watched Bill Nye the Science Guy, and it was so cool and we have a sub so we kicked on the math and we got all our homework done but my friend Odyssey missed three days so she has lots of homework and I feel really bad for her. All that homework! I am surprised that she hasn't turned in to Albert Einstein yet! But to day we finished all of the math and activities we were going to do.

And today we had three teachers in our room and and we also went to gym and then recess and then we ate lunch and now we are writing and then we are going to read a National Geographic and then I will go home and I will ask my mom if she can buy me some cards for my party and then we don't have school on Monday so that will be cool and that is what happened this week.

three paragargh thing we have to write what we did this week

On what we did this week we did some work and some more work. We also did homework, not that much though. It was a fun this week (some week). We had indoor recess (also fun (some fun)). I played on computers all 30 minutes (45 min.).

All I did this week at home this very week of all the weeks was sleep, eat, school, eat & sleep. Like all the other weeks this was the most fun of all, a substitute came into our class. He was okay, fine, defined & great. He was a nice guy.

Today was a great day. It was also kind of short today. I got my work done which is great. To end this short paragraph I will say today is over bye.

Awesome Present

"What is it?, Who you think its for?" I asked.

"I don't know!" said my friend Jazz.

It was Christmas morning and Jazz And I were looking at the biggest present under the tree; it was the size of a giant.

My mom saw us looking at the present and said, "What are you kids doing?"

We both heard her and turned around and said at the same time, "Nothing!"

We went on looking around. We went around the house seeing what people were doing when a lot more people started coming for breakfast.

A new expirience

"This does not look safe." I told my grandpa.

"We'll be fine."

The plane that I climbed on was beat up with dents. The pilot put our luggage in the plane and I went to say goodbye to my mom. Then I hopped on the plane and was ready to take flight. I t turned out to be really fun.

"When do we land?" I asked my grandma. I had to yell because the airplane was so loud.

"What?"

"When do we land?"

"What?"

"I said, when do we land?"

"What?"

"WHEN DO WE LAND?"

"You don't have to yell, I can hear you just fine. We will be landing soon."

I looked at that woman like she was crazy. She always does that to me. Act like she can't hear me when she can.

When we finally landed we went to the house we were supposed to stay in. We were gonna stay with one of my grandma's friends. She had a grandson named Anthony that was 6. There were so many mosquitoes.

"Do you want to play?" Anthony asked me when I was watching
t.v.

"OK. What do you want to play?" I asked.

"Let's go down to the graveyard!" he said with joy.

"OK. Let's go."

Meany friends that steal

I have this friend who really isn't very nice because she is always rude and steals my stuff. See, it all started when I was 8. I had been playing at her house and my dad said it was time to come home so we ran down to my house because I live right down the street from her. When I got home my dad had gotten ice cream for my brother and me. I ran upstairs to ask my mom if she could spend the night.

My mom said, "No, not tonight."

So I went back down stairs and she was gone and so was my ice cream, so my brother shared with me. But after that we didn't really play anymore.

About one year later we started playing again. But when my mom and dad went to some other place that wasn't here, I don't remember what the pace was called, they brought me back a really pretty lipstick holder and a big huge Dr. Pepper lip gloss thing.

Then one day I showed my friend the holder and lip gloss, then my mom was calling me, so I went out to see what it was. And when I came back to my room, she had to go home. So then she left right away. My lips were chapped, so I went to get the lip gloss and it was gone.

My Friends

In the third quarter of second grade the water system at my house broke down and we had to move. We lived out in North Pole and my parents wanted to live in Fairbanks. So we into town, but we were to far away to go to our old school so we came to Denali.

I got put in Mrs Dunehew's class and she put me right next to Rannon. That day we became best friends and he introduced me to his friend Marcelo. The thee of us became best friends. Everyday at recess Rannon, Marcelo and I would go o the fire truck, which we named the Koala Mobile, and we sang the Koala Mobile Song ehich went like this "Koala mobile. WEE! Koala mobile. WEE!" If we weren't on the Koala Mobile, which was very rare. Then we were knocking snow on each others' head by smacking the plastic roof on the playground equipment. We have been friends ever since.

CHILDHOOD

SUPER MAN IS BACK! "WITH SOME BAD NEWS YA'LL"!!!!

One day me and my brother and all of my friends were playing football. Then I, SUPER APPLE, got the ball and my friend Brice pushed me, and stuck out his leg. But you all know what happened, I tripped. Then I got mad and said, What the heck, stupid!?

Then Bryce said, Shut up! and called me some inappropriate words and then I called him some inappropriate words. Then I was real mad with him. Here's the worst part, he called me a word against my skin color when I was running my route.

I punched him with my left hand like 10 times, and he tried but I was ducking and dodging and he was missing so then I SUPER MAN punched him with my right hand next I SUPER MAN tripped over something again!!

Then I fell backwards and he fell on top of me and he was still trying to punch me but he was still missing my face and he sucked at fighting and he was a little weak and then I SUPER MAN got him with a right hook on the ground!

Glenn my brother came over and grabbed Bryce by the neck and right when I SUPER MAN was about to punch him in his stomach the duty said STOP THAT!!! and then, WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!

I SUPER MAN explained and then Bryce, he changed the whole story, and Glenn couldn't say much. Then we were sent to the principal's office. After that Mr. Doran said, "Go get your lunch really quick".

Then he said each of you are going to explain what happened, so you know, I, SUPER MAN, explained first, and then Bryce said that I, THE GREAT SUPER MAN, called him the inappropriate words first and that he understands how Glenn helped out in the fight.

Then Glenn said what he knew. Then Mr. Doran said that there should not have been any inappropriate words at all. Then he said eat while I talk.

Then he said that we're out there to have fun and not to fight. I, SUPER MAN, had a feeling like he was going to give us Discipline Reports but he didn't. We had to come in for recess for three days and we served our time and we made up and became friends again. THE END I'M OUT BYE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

My Friend

In second grade I went to a different school named Denali. I didn't think I would make any friends, but I did! It's almost the first thing I did with my best friend today, Wes. It all happened like this.

It was the first day of school; I was scared. I came in and found my classroom. I walked in and saw a lot of kids playing and talking. I just found my seat and sat down. I didn't talk to anyone until recess.

I went outside and walked around for a couple of minutes. Then I saw some kids playing tag! I was scared to ask if I could play. I went up to a kid and said, "Hello, can I play tag?" And I happened to ask Wes.

He said, "Sure."

I wasn't in his class but every day we would go outside for recess and talk and play. We really got along and figured out that we don't live that far away from each other. He became my best friend.

And its all because I said hello and asked if I can play tag. That was the day I met and got my best friend, Wes. And now I have a lot of friends!

THE BUBBLE

It was the first day of fifth grade. I wondered if there were any new students. When I first walked into my new class, I saw Jack, Rannon, Izzy, Tanner, and some others I knew. But there was one kid I had never seen before. So I walked up to him and said with a big smile, "Hello."

He looked up at me and I could tell that he was thinking that I was a weirdo. But he was nice and said "hi" back. He had bright red hair and freckles.

I asked, "Whats your name?" He didn't answer me, so I said, "Are you new?" Even though I knew he was. He looked at me and said, "Ya and my name is Sean."

I told him my name was Jenna.

Then the teacher said it was time to sit down and said, "So how many of you are new to our school?" Sean raised his hand. She asked him what his name was and he answered, "Sean." Then we started the day. Later I saw Sean and Rannon hanging out at gym. So I walked over said, "Hi."

Then I got hit in the head with a lime green soccer ball. I went to the nurse's office. After that we had recess. When I got outside Sean and Rannon came up to me and said, "Are you OK Jenna?"

My Super Boring Trip to Hawaii

My trip to Hawaii was SUPER boring. I couldn't see any of my friends because they were all in school and I had to help clean the house because my grandparents were moving out to go live with my aunt and uncle. But the good part of it was that I could go shopping. The other things that I did besides cleaning was meeting up with my mom's friends. When my mom went out to lunch I would go with her and if she didn't want me to come then I would just hang out with my family.

This might sound crazy to you but it was... for me the humidity and the heat was too much, and I would probably be in the freezing cold weather instead of the boiling hot island. But the thing that I liked about the heat was that I could get a tan and there was no snow.

Although I could live with the heat I wouldn't live there for sure. I like it here more than there because all my awesome friends are here, and there is lots and lots of snow, and I can have a dog.

The Big Move

When I was 5 years old my parents called me and my siblings into the living room and told us we were moving to Alaska. I was scared because I thought people in Alaska lived in igloos and had to hunt for all their food. I also thought it was always winter.

That week we started packing. Actually I didn't pack; none of the kids did, we just played in the U-haul truck. Once we were done packing we said goodbye to all our friends. My parents' friends hugged us so much that I hid in the closet. After the goodbyes we started driving.

After we drove for an hour or two we stopped to fill up the gas tank. My siblings and I got out of the car and started shouting "Yay! We're in Alaska! Yay!" Then my mom told us to get in the car and that we hadn't even left the state. So we drove several more days sleeping in the car or in a hotel. We drove until we reached Canada.
