The Man Who Dropped The Ring
One day I was walking on the Fairbanks Bridge but when I was walking I saw a man proposing to a girl. After 30 seconds of watching, the ring slipped out of his hand. He was trying to catch it but it fell into a drain hole. He tried getting it out of the drain hole but he couldn't get it out. He waved his hands looking at me for some help. He said, "I can't get the ring out of the hole!"
After he was done talking, I lent him some tweezers. When I got over there the ring was barely on the edge of a little hole that was in the drain. After one minute of trying he nudged it and it fell.
The man jumped for the ring right after it fell. He dove 50 feet straight into the water for the ring. It must be crazy for a man to jump 50 feet into the river with a nice suit on, I thought. Then the girl decided to go in after it, too. I said, "No!" but she jumped for it also. When I got to the edge of the bridge I heard her screaming all the way down until she hit the water.
Luckily, she knew how to swim and she drifted down the river. I called the Coast Guard and told them where I saw her floating. One hour later they found both of them shivering under some rocks by the side of the river. They were unscathed. But now the man knew to keep the ring in the case and never let it out of his sight.
