Find The Leaf

Last week we went outside in our school's woods. We went to go get leaves and flowers. The first time we went outside we didn't know what we were looking for. All we practically did was go outside and find some leaves or flowers. But it was fun! Then were were going to write about them a couple days after, but we found out that the leaves have dried out. So we did some research about the leaves and flowers and new accurately what we were going to get and went back outside to find them.

We went outside to get flowers because we work with a scientist name Mr. Truastason. He is helping us learn about trees, herbs, and shrubs. We found out about a lot of plants that we didn't know about before. We found out where a lot of plants usually grow.

When we were in the woods we found a really big hole in the ground. Some people thought it was a bear cave. Or some other animal lived in there. But Mr. Traustason and Mr.Noon said it just looked like someone has dug it up. I think they said that because there was little holes in the hole and there was stick covering the hole and it didn't look like an animal could of done it. We also found a bike. It was a nice bike too. Doesn't it sound like our class discovers a lot of things in the woods?
