My favorite Goalies
The most important position in hockey is goalie. I should know because I’m a goalie. I have three favorite goalies. Their names are Ryan Miller, Patrick Roy, and Robert Luongo.
Ryan Miller plays for the Buffalo Sabers and that’s the only team he has played for in the NHL. He is my second favorite goalie because he is really good and plays hard. I also think he is a really good example to other goalies.
Patrick Roy played for the Montreal Canadiens and for the Colorado Avalanche and now is retired. He is probably the best goalie ever in the NHL (so far). He is a really amazing goalie and he also made up the style of play that most goalies play called the butterfly. The butterfly is when you go down on your knees and spread your legs out.
Robert Luongo has played for the New York Islanders, Flordia Panthers, and now plays for the Vancouver Canucks. Robert is a great goalie and is really good. He plays really hard and can make good saves.
Out of these three goalies Patrick Roy is my favorite goalie, Ryan Miller second and Robert Luongo third. All of these goalies are a inspiration to me. I hope one day some kid writes about me in a story.
