My Magical Pet Pony

By Sam - Posted on 17 January 2008

One day I was walking through the circus. There were animals everywhere. In cages. I saw a pink bright pink pony. So I went up to it. It did nothing. The sign said For Sale. And I always wanted a pony. That would be so cool to have a pet pony. The sign said it was $200.

I went home and asked my parents and for some odd reason they said yes. So the next day I went to the store and got some wood to build a pony house. I bought a big bowl and some pony food. My dad hooked up a trailer to the back of his pickup. Then we went and got it. The circus guy was kind of goofy. I didn't care. I just wanted my pony. We got it, took it home, and I named it Philip. I think he liked it. He really liked his pony house.

After a couple of weeks Philip started acting weird. So I went and talked to him. And all the sudden he started talking back. I thought I was crazy. Then I went and got my dad and mom and he didn't talk to them. They just thought I was crazy too. But some odd feeling told me I wasn't crazy. The next day came and he was talking to me again. I didn't even try to go get my parents because they would think I am crazy again.

Philip started talking about three wishes. I was really into it.

He said “You get three wishes for letting me free from the circus.”

I said “I cant believe this.”

He said “ You can't ask for more wishes, and you can't ask for money.”

Then I said, ”Can I ask for something to trade in for a lot of money.”

He said, "Yes.”

I said, For my first wish I wish me and my parents live in a huge house.”

He said OK and said some gibberish.

So I went outside and I had the biggest house in the world.

I said to my pony Philip “Thank you." Fo my second wish I said, “I wish for a lake to go swimming in outside of my house.”

He said “Your wish has been granted.”

I went outside and right out of my bedroom window was a lake. I stopped asking for wishes so I could think of a really really good one. So I went swimming with my family for a while.

A couple of months went by and my pony kept talking to me and then my dad got really sick. He was so sick that he was going to die in a couple of days. I was trying to think of what to do. We spent our money on that pony and we didn't have enough for a hospital. Then I thought. It took a day and he was going to die tomorrow and I thought with my pony.

He said why don't you ask me to get your dad so he is not sick.”

I said “ Brilliant.” So I said, “I wish for my dad to not be sick anymore.”

And he said, “This is your last and final wish. Are you sure?”

“Yes”

“Well then, your wish has been granted.”

My dad was better. Me and my parents were so happy and we got some money and bought a boat and a jet ski. But my pony never told me that he dies when the three wishes are done. I felt so bad wishing for that other stuff.

The next day he passed away. We buried him in the backyard. I will always miss having someone to talk to.

Yeah right, as if that's real. I mean a talking pony that grants you wishes and he magically dies after the third wish. I think you're lying and trying to cover it up by saying that he died.

Is too. Even ask my parents.

That is a really weird story Sam but it would be fun to have a really big house and lake right outside your house.
