Is it fair or not?
This morning when I got to school Moriah and I were supposed to go talk to Mr. Doran. We were supposed to talk to him about Relay for Life. We were going to talk to him yesterday but we couldn't find him. So the secretaries told us to come in the morning. So we were walking inside and Mr. Hollister wouldn't let us go in. Thats unfair because the secretaries told us to come in the morning. The next time we can go is lunch. But we might not be able to find him.
Relay for Life is a 24 hour walk. All the money goes to the Cancer Society. Last year our team made over $7,000 . I think were going to raise more money this year. I think last year the whole Relay for Life made about $200,000. I think that's how much but I'm not sure.
It's not fair Mr. Hollister wouldn't let us in. We were mad when he wouldn't let us in because the secretaries told us to. It's unfair to us because we were supposed to talk to him on Monday but we couldn't find him. So at lunch we looked for him. We found him but it took a while to find him. It's hard to find him because he's usually around the school in the class rooms. So we looked in like all the class rooms and we couldn't find him. So we went back to the office and asked the secretaries if they knew where he was. But right after we asked them he walked in and we got to talk to him. I don't think that Mr. Hollister knew the secretaries told to come inside. I think if he knew that he would of let us in.
But then he just told us that Mr. Doran was in a meeting with a parent. We didn't know that. If we knew that it would have been fair. It's different if he's in a meeting and Mr. Hollister's just not letting us in. But now we know that. So it actually is fair.
Oh how sad!!!!!!.that Mr.Hollister wouldn't let you in.
Love that story, so cool.
I Understand both of your and Mr. Holister's point of view. That story had a really good meaning to it. Keep writing.
