The Great Egyptian Pyramids

I think the Egyptian Pyramids are really cool because they are really big and really amazing. The most amazing Pyramid is The Great Pyramid of Giza.

Most Pyramids were built during the Old and Middle Kingdom. People never knew how the pyramids were built. Many people have theories how pyramids were built but nobody really knows.

People believe that the Great Pyramid of Giza was built over a 80 year period. The Great Pyramid of Giza was 147 meters high. It is the tallest structure that has been on earth 3,200 years. The pyramid has 2.3 million stone blocks and each block weighed from 2.5 to 15 tons. I think that is amazing, and how people got the blocks to the top.
