Hieroglyphics

I think that hieroglyphics are really cool. Hieroglyphics are also kind of strange. The hieroglyphics are cool because they are pictographs. Which is a fancy word for picture writing. There are things that are animals and other things. Like vultures, Eagles, Crocodiles, People, and Objects. At first no one but the Egyptians could read the language. Then people found the Rosetta stone. Then I think that it looked a little like Greek so eventually someone figured it out. Then loots of people tried to figure out the rest of Egyptian writing. They did figure out the hieroglyphics, but there is still more to learn about the hieroglyphics.
