May Bird Among the Stars

I am reading the book May Bird Among the Stars. The author is Jodi Lynn Anderson. The book is about May Bird trying to get out of the Ever After. The characters are Beatrice, Captain Fabbio, Pumpkin, Somber Kitty, and May. The way May got into the Ever After is a spirit pulled her into a swamp that lead her into the Ever After. I think the book is really good. I really like the books that Judi Lynn Anderson writes.

Somber, Kitty Kitty for short, is May's cat. Pumpkin is a house ghost, which means that he haunts houses. Bea is what everyone calls Beatrice. Beatrice is looking for her mother who died and should be in the Ever After. Captain Fabbio lost his ship crew and is looking for them in the Ever After. May is looking for a way back to the living world. There is a monsters thing called Bo Cieevl that's looking for May. He's looking for May to suck her up into his fingers. The reason he wants to suck May into his fingers is because they're not allowed to be living people in the Ever After.

Everyone in the Ever After has a whistle and if they blow it the Boogie come. The Boogie is just another name for Bo Cieevl. If anyone sees May they have to blow the whistle. Now May has a cape and if someone alive wears it they look died. And that's what May has to wear. There are other ghosts that are after May.

May had to take a risk telling Beatrice and Captain Fabbio that she was alive.

I really liked this book because it has adventures, mysteries, sadness, and funny moments. There is an0ther book that is called May Bird and the Ever After. That's the first book. The first book is really good too. I recommend book number one and two. They both have adventures, mysteries, and sadness.
