Humming birds are cool. They beat their wings five hundred times a second and they drink their weight each day. I want to see an actual humming bird but I don't know where to look.
I used to live in Texas. The Texas state bird is the hummingbird because a lot of them live in Texas. The reason they are called hummingbirds is because since they flap their wings 500 times a second you can hear a hum coming from their wings if you listen closely.
Really I didn't know that.
