My Hockey Trip In Anchorage

This weekend I went to Anchorage to play hockey . We had to play the really hard teams in our league. We left at 7:00 am so I wasn’t that happy to wake up but I was excited to play hockey.

When we started diving we stopped at holiday gas station to get gas and something to drinking for the trip down. When we started to drive I played my PSP for about an hour then laid down for a while and then talked with my Mom and Dad and till we got in Cantwell. Cantwell is a little town that we stop at to go to the bathroom and get a snack. Cantwell is about half way between Fairbanks and Anchorage. At the pit stop we met up with my friend Michael so they followed us for the rest of the way there.

When we got into Anchorage we went to this pizza place called Moose's Tooth that we go every time we go to Anchorage. After we ate we went to the hotel and I had to tape my hockey stick. Then I started to get focused.

When we got to the rink my team warmed up a got dressed. When the game started I was kind of nervous because I was starting in net and it was a first game against the third place team. In the first period there was goals but in the second period they scored on me and in the second period I made a really cool save and I got a picture of it and it is right bellow us. But in the third period they scored first then we scored and at the end of the game we lost 2-1. After the game went to the Aces game. The Aces are a minor team for a NHL team so it's pretty much pro hockey. After the Aces game we went to the hotel and went to sleep.

The next day I woke up at seven in the morning and went down stairs for breakfast. When I got the breakfast room there was some older people there till about seven thirty then about two people from my team came down. After we had breakfast I went to are next game that I didn’t play but we won 1-0 and my team was really exited because of that. After the game we had a team lunch at this place called Slicleys buffet (that place was really good). I had to go to the hotel to rest because I was playing in are next game and so I was ready to play. In the next game we won 2-1 and that was really cool. After the game we went to outback and I got free dessert because we had to wait thirty minutes for drinks so they gave me free dessert.

When I got back to the hotel I hanged around with my friend Cole and his cousin and went to bed.

The next day we had to wake up and pack and go eat breakfast and then go to are game. Are last game was pretty bad because we lost 9-2 and that is pretty bad then we drove back down to Fairbanks.

The Drive back down felt a lot longer for some reason and it was really tiering and boring. When we got into Fairbanks I was so happy because we finally got back home.
