The dissectuion

By Gary - Posted on 30 October 2007

The other day we dissected baby pigs. In the beginning Tumi and the science lady cut open the little pigs. The pigs were really tiny. There was also a sheep brain. It was also tiny.

The pigs skin was really tough. Especially the back part of it. Tumi, when he was cutting it, he broke its little bones.

We got to feel inside it after they were done cutting it. They had kidneys, liver, heart, intestine, stomach, and lungs. The kidneys were near the back. The liver was in the middle. The heart was at the top and was really hard.

It was kind of weird because it felt really mushy and cushy. There were lots of fluids in it. Someone accidentally cut the liver. The blood was not liquid though. I think they said they put some thing in it so you could see the blood.

I learned a lot about the body. I think we are a lot like pigs. Like where the parts of the body are.
