Fetal Pig Disection

By Sam - Posted on 30 October 2007

In Science we dissected a baby pig with Mr.Tumi. He cut it with a weird looking knife. On one pig there was blue stuff coming out of it. It smelled so bad. I couldn't take it. I can't even describe what it smelt like. I saw a lot of stuff that I didn't want to see, like the heart, the liver sheep brain, and a lot more stuff.

After we looked at the front of the body we looked at the back of the body. I touched the spinal cord. I had to sit down a couple of times because it was so gross. On the other pig there were strings in the pig it was kind of weird. I think it was for holding the body together.,

I learned from feeling it that a baby pig's heart is hard. It was kind of fun and not kind of fun. We had to open the windows to let the stink out. I never want to do this again.
