Building Rockets
In our class we are making Pitsco Rockets from a rocket kit but not one of those lame straw rockets. I mean like real rockets like with a nose cone, and engine. One that you light and it shoots up in to the air. I was the first person done so a lot of kids asked for help. Making the engine holder was the hardest part of the rocket. You took a little tube and a long metal stick type thing and two little rings 1/8 of an inch up you put a line of glue. Then one the other side you put a line of glue an inch up. Then you lay the metal on it and slide the rings over the metal to where you placed the glue.
I find it rather sad that I know all that from memory. Don't you? But it was so fun painting and making the frame for the rocket.

This what the rockets look like before they're painted.
I think I was the second that was done and a lot of people did ask for help! My fave part was painting the rocket! good story!
