Baseball is so Fun

One of my favorite sports is baseball. In baseball it can be boring and exiting at the same time. When I play baseball in the league I pretty much never sit on the bench because I’m really good.

My positions are second base and catcher. My favorite position is catcher. Catcher can be really exiting but hard because you need to be able to throw really hard to second base when someone is stealing and you also have to be able to stop the ball so it doesn't go past you and they don’t steal a base. But the most fun part part of the game is batting. Batting is hard but fun. It feels really good when you get a really good hit and everybody cheers for you. Once when I hit a ball to the out field and I was running to second my coach said to stay a second but I just kept running to third and I slide and a whole lot of dirt came in the air and the ump didn’t see me and called me safe when I think I was really out.

At the end of our season my team was in second place going into the tournament but I didn’t get to play in the tournament because my Mom and Dad had to schedule our vacation right over the tournament and I wasn’t happy.

I think everybody should try to play baseball and I’m telling you that it is really really fun. That's my story about baseball.
