Museum of the North
Today we went to the museum of the north. There were some great paintings. The building was built in a weird shape. There's a lot of workers that work at the museum. One of the people that work there said that even the building was art.
The museum was really cool. I got to see old pictures from 1956. My favorite part was the listening room. The listening room changes the sound when something happens in Alaska. If an earthquake happens the sound changes to a low sound.
I talked to Karissa about the museum. I asked her 3 questions and the first one is what she thought about the paintings.
"It looks like they took a long time working on those paintings," she said. The second question was about the listening room. "It was my favorite part of the trip," her second response to the second question. The final question was about the port a potty."I thought it was weird that someone wanted stuff on there bathroom," her final response to the last question. What she meant was that ice cream boxes, deers antlers, and other stuff were on the port a potty.
The museum was really cool and I wish I was still there. Coolest piece of art that was there was the The Next Generation Berry Picker. The Next Generation Berry Picker is a 3D art that is carved from wood and has parkas that were sewn together. That was the best art in the entire museum. That was the best museum I have ever been to and I wish I never left.
