When I almost got arrested
When I went to Juneau, with my family when I was six, we had to stop in Canada. When we were in Canada, my sisters, Kylie and Karliegh, and I got out of the car, and we skipped to the sidewalk in front of the hotel we were staying at. Then we skipped on the sidewalk. It was fun.
We kept skipping, then we saw these two guys in police-looking uniforms coming up to us.
"You're under arrest," they said as we stared in fear," for skipping on Canadian sidewalks."
"We can let you slide if you promise we will never see you skipping on our sidewalks again," they said. We nodded.
My dad said that night that we had nothing to be afraid of. It turns out they were just hotel security guards!
Nice job Debby!!!!!!
That would be pretty funny if you're watching, but if it was happening to you, that would be scary.
That would have made me do something crazy!!! I probably would have yelled at the men!!! Did you know that they acually have crazy laws like that in the U.S.? Like somewere Nebraska you can't sell dounut holes. And in New York if a man looks at a women in an impure way anytime that man goes out in public he has to ware a blindfold.
That sounds scary to me.
