field trip

When we were going to the mountain we had to sit on the bus. We stopped at the valley first after we got out of town. It was really wet and not that cold. There were black spruce on one side.Then we learned about the stuff that was hanging off the spruce tree.

After that we went back to the bus and sat for awhile until we got to the middle of the hill. It was wet but not as wet. It was really rocky and the ground was rough. We had to walk a long way until we finally made it to the top of the giant boulder.

When we got there we were allowed to eat our lunch on top of the boulder only after Mr.Noon explained the rock climbing rules. After we were finished with our lunch our science teacher, Mr.Tumi, showed us some rich soil called silt. Then we went back to the bus to go home. That was my day at Murphy Dome.
