I think that I have really gotten better at reading than when I was at the first part of the year. I'm reading faster, talking more clearly, and can read bigger words. That's why I improved.

I think a lot of my reading abilities come from the 30 minutes of reading each day. And it helps me keep time, because on Mondays I go to band right after reading. And the best books I've read all year are The Secrets of Droon series. I've also been reading Series of Unfortunate Events.

On my way to school, I found a magic wand; it was in a bush. At first I thought it was a regular wand, but when I was beat boxing, I said, "Boom boom!" And before you know it, the street turned to ice.

Then I said "This will be fun," and I put the wand in my backpack. I showed my friends, D.B., Clara, Garrius, and Jerimiya.

At first they didn't believe me, but then I said, "Boom, boom!" and turned our teacher into a panther. Then my friends believed me, and then everybody ran for their lives. Everybody made it except the panther.

So school got canceled because of... well, a panther. When I walked home I threw the wand back in the bushes. When I got home I looked out the window and saw another kid find it, and that's my story.

There are a lot of different types of games. There are video games, card games and board games. My favorite type of game is video games. I like video games because they are a lot of fun. Video games need game stations to put the disc. You also need a t.v. so you can see the games.

This week I got a PS3 and 6 games Afro Samurai, Turuk, Kung Fu Panda, Prince of Persa, Sonic Unleashed and Mortal Kombat DC Universe. Well I actually I got the PS3 on Christmas Eve. I meant to say the first time it was at my mom's house.

I bet you're wondering what a PS3 is. A PS3 is a Playstation 3. It's able to let you watch blue ray discs on it. And the PS3 can play playstation 1 games.

The PS3 is a big responsibility. You have to finish your homework first. You also have to make sure the game you are playing is appropriate.

Once I rode down a steep road on my bike. My bike had a front and back brakes. I forgot I wasn't supposed to pull the back brakes. So when I pulled the back brakes I flew down the road. When I landed, my hands and knees got scraped and my foot got stuck in the bike. And I twisted my ankle.

Avalanches are one of the deadliest and heaviest things in the world. Avalanches killed about 50 people in a year. Avalanches can weigh up to 100,000 tons. A avalanche can only start if the mountian is 25 degrees or steeper.

there are people who study avalanches. One of the people who study avalanches is named Doctor Adams. Doctor Adams studies avalanches by staying in a shed on the side of the mountain and uses special tools. His computer program will tell skiers and snowboarders where to go.

This is the story of how I almost DIED. I was just a little baby when I almost died. I was being carried over the shoulder by one of my dad's friends. He was walking with me on his shoulder, and he walked near the stairs when i fell. I fell because he was rocking back and forth and he leaned back too far and lost his grip. I fell down a 13-step staircase. I could have died going down those stairs, but all I got was a little scar on my nose.

Dragons are the coolest creature ever, and now our class is making dragon pictures. Dragons come in all shapes and sizes and some are mean and some are nice. Some dragons have wings and some don't.

Dragons live in Asia and Europe. Asian dragons are mostly nice and don't have wings, and some don't have legs. European dragons are mostly mean and have wings and legs.

Dragons usually breath fire, but they breath other things like ice and snow and poison.

N is for a pet newt.

My cat Licorice is the nicest cat in the world. My cat had 3 kittens. One named Tux, another named Strike, and the last one was named Jewel. But one day we had to sell them.

Licorice was a year old when she had the kittens; she was 2 when we sold the kittens. Our cat Licorice didn't like us for a whole year.
