Hey I'm Austin and I was in Mr. Noon's class last year. Now I go to Ryan Middle School. Last year we did a lot of fun field trips so I bet You all will too.

19 years ago there was an oil spill in Prince William sound, near Valdez. The petroleum oil tanker Exxon Valdez had hit a rock and oil started to leak oil. (I think it must have been leaking pretty fast because it lost 10.8 million gallons out of 53,094,510 gallons of oil.) Then otters started to die because they got oil all over their fur and tried to lick it off, and ingested the oil. Fish were affected but not immediately, because fish live under water, and the oil was on top of the water.

Seals and birds covered in oil started to wash up on shore.

The planets in our solar system , all except Earth, are names after Roman gods that were adopted from Greek gods. There are many gods in Greek mythology. Their names are Zues, Apollo, Hermes, Poseidon, Ares, Hephastus, Dionysus, Pan, Eros, Hades, Athena, Artimus, Aphrodite, Hera, and Demeter.

In Egypt a long time ago the beliefs and civilizations were different than ours. This report is about how the beliefs about the dead changed.

Mummies could be naturally formed by either extreme cold or extreme heat and dryness, or they could be embalmed by humans. The body would be embalmed and dried out with a natural salt called natron. Natron absorbs water and kills bacteria that decomposes the body. Then the body was wrapped in hundreds of yards of linen, and amulets like the eye of Horus would be placed in the layers of linen.

NOT FAIR!!!!!

Every time I get into an argument with my parents they say, "I'm the parent. I always win the argument!" So I say, "BUT THAT'S NOT FAIR!" and they say,"Life's not fair!" And I end up either not getting what I wanted, or getting in trouble, or both.

Like a few weeks ago, I said that I wanted a new guitar for Christmas, and my dad said that he wasn't going to get me another one. So I said that's not fair, and he said that life's not fair.

My favorite animals are giraffes and hippos. I love hippos because they are all fat and stuff and they have long teeth. I love giraffes because they are all tall, yellow, have squarish spots, and weird horns. One time I fed a giraffe in a zoo. In another zoo they had hippos and lions and tigers but it was a drive through zoo and you got to feed the animals. At that zoo an ostrich stuck its head into my car and grabbed the bag of animal food and stole it. Luckily the ostriches were the last animal at the zoo.

Snowboarding is one of my favorite sports. It's really fun, but sometimes it can hurt because there is ice in the snow so if sometimes you can get cuts from falling. The reason I love snowboarding is because its a lot like skateboarding, my other favorite sport. Snowboarding is easier than skating because you're strapped to the board. But in skateboarding its harder to stay on the board when you get air because you're not strapped to the board.

I love music music is good some music can make you hyper while other music makes you calm, some music can make you sad while other music can make you happy. Music is basically my life. I'm in the school band and I'm in my own rock band called the Corn Dogs.

Skateboarding is so fun! I'm best at grinding and I'm realy good in the half-pipe.

I go to the skatepark on Fridays and Saturdays because on Friday I get a free skate session on Fridays, and on Saturdays most of my friends that skateboard are there.

Debby said she almost got arrested in Canada, so I thought she almost got put in jail by mounties but then she said that they were just some hotel security gaurds. The security guards said they were arrested for skipping on Canadian sidewalks. That's a weird law in my opinion.

I have a dog named Cody. He's a Belgian malenau german shepherd mix. His genetics are flawed so his coat isn't the way normal dogs of his kind are and he can't enter in dog shows or anything, but he looks better than normal dogs of his kind do too!

We used to have a german shepherd named Bear. He was cute but he chewed on everything and went to the bathroom everywhere not just outside. So we had to get rid of him.

This Thursday we went out of the town we live in, to the base of Murphy Dome, the middle of Murphy Dome, and The top of Murphy Dome.

We walked about 4 miles total and by the end of the day we were all sore and we wanted to just go home. When I got home I took a nap and I played the computer after I woke up.

We went on the field trip to learn about climate changes, habitat, and about why the trees stop growing on the mountains.

This actually has nothing whatsoever to do with ¡!¡PIE¡!¡ It's just a good title in my opinion.

I can't think of anything to write so I will just write about what's going on. So 5 will write about what Zam's doing because he’s sitting next to me at the moment. Now Sam's copying everything I say do or write. He just hit backspace about 10 times and is writing about what I'm doing and typing every time I type. He just finished the story and he is now going to get the paper he just typed. Well this was fun we'll see you next time next time.

I like to skateboard every friday if I do my homework and chores I get to go to the skatepark. Last time I went to the skatepark it was a saturday not a friday and I did my first grind it was awesome it was a backside 50-50. Thats where you ollie(jump) spin around backwards and balance evenly on the middle of youre board. I just went to the skatepark and decided "hmmm I think I'll do grinds today!" it was a little scary but I did it and I loved it!

Hey I remember how to make origami snap dragons! Talk to me for info on how to make them. They are fun to make.

At the beginning of the plant lesson we went out into the woods and got some plants not knowing what we were going to get. But after we found out what those plants were we made a fieldguide. Then went out and got the plants that were in the field guide, put them on the paper using tape and then the assignments were graded.

We had buddies today. It was fun. We read to them and helped them write. It WAS AWESOME!!!!!!! I hope i did it right. We met and shared stories with each other I have two awesome buddies!

Not hurt in a bad way but when I skate I never get hurt in a bad way I mean it hurts ALOT but it feels good somehow its confusing but the aderenaline makes the pain go away skating is realy exciting but sometimes realy scary
