What happens when you eat an entire chocolate cake for breakfast? What happens when you you put a worm down your older brothers shirt? What happens when you name a huge dog "kitty"? What happens when you sit on top of a really tall basketball hoop? What happens when you chew gum on the bus? What happens when you fall off your skate board? What does happen anyway?

Well if you eat a whole cake for breakfast you get sick. If you put a worm down your brother's shirt then your parents will probably get mad at you. If you name your dog kitty all your neighbors will be really confused when you call out the word kitty and a huge dog comes running down the street. When you sit on a b ball hoop that's really tall you get stuck (most likely). When you chew gum on the bus you get in trouble and you get a D.R. And when you fall off your skate board you get hurt; it's as simple as that.

This will probably be my last on tell the raven. I have been writing stories, writing comment on other peoples good stories. I don't mean to brag, but I have written over 50 stories on this website! Whenever I can't think of something to write, I comment on other stories. I think that all my classmates are very good writers! I will miss writing in this website. I will miss all my teachers, all the fun I had with my friends. Some of my friends are going to different middle schools! I will miss sledding on the hill in winter. I will miss recess! I will miss EVERYTHING!

I read two stories on National Geographic about space junk. I read both of them because I wanted to know what different people think about space junk. I also wanted to learn different facts.

The first story I read, I though was more interesting. I learned lots of facts. The U.S. Surveillance Network used a radar and found more than 13,000 pieces smaller than four inches. There are also millions of tinier pieces such as flecks of paint and bits of plastic... wow! Space Junk includes whole satellites, parts of satellites, deployed rocket bodies, human waste, and many more random stuff. The second story I read only has a couple of facts. One that I found was that space junk is interfering with robotic missions and human space flight. The debris are guessed to stay steady through 2055, then they will increase. Scientists say that removing big pieces of old space junk will soon be necessary. I read the National Geographic magazine on Space Junk and went on the computer to learn more. I learned that space junk is made up of materials that humans cast into space. Some of the space junk is lost and broken satellites. Also some space junk is tools that astronauts lose in space. I also found out that about 13,000 close calls happen between astronauts and space junk each week. If scientists shoot lasers at space junk to try to eliminate it. The fragments that get shot off tend to create more space junk! Astronauts wear bullet-proof material in space so that space junk can't slice through their suits. Astronaut Edward White's glove got lost in space and flew towards the earth at about 28,000 kilometers before it burned up. Space junk can be harmful to astronauts like Edward, so I'm glad scientists are finding ways to be rid of space junk, aren't you?

Right now at this vary moment garbage is floating in our space that surrounds are Earth is causing danger to satellites,& other stuff up there is a ring of trash around us right now and it is hurting our Earth and we need to help it. You just can't sit there and not feel sorry for our Earth. You kinda have to because you helped them destroy our Earth. Did you know that over 100,000 tool bags trying to fix the international space station, we are losing the battle here, like shoot lasers at litter, except gravity would pull it back to us. Just start by doing the little things in life, like recycle and stop polluting the water we eat & drink from. Every bit counts.

Right now as I am typing there is space garbage floating around causing satellites & astronauts danger. Rockets, broken satellites, astronauts' gloves, and other junk is polluting space. There is a ring of space trash surrounding Earth. Sometimes, junk falls from outer space into Earth and, one time it hit someone. Once, part of a Russian rocket fell back to Earth. Scientists are thinking of fixing this problem.

One idea is to shoot lasers at litter. Except, gravity would pull it back. Another idea is that space garbage trucks would have a net, catch the garbage in the net, then dump it in Earth's atmosphere. But it will burn up before it reaches the ground. We are still finding a way to get rid of this pollution.

Even today there is more than 300,000 pieces of litter cluttering space! Some interesting facts is that astronaut, Edward White, lost his glove in space and it sped around Earth at 28 thousand kilometers per hour before burning up! Also, the 1958 Vanguard 1 satellite is still orbiting Earth as the oldest piece of space junk. I think we need to be a bit more careful.

I read three articles on space junk and they all talk about different things. I read all National Geographic articles one was on cleaning it up the other were almost the same. The thing is that two of the three both talked about Edward White losing his glove.but the clean up one talked about how they track trash 4 cm in diameter and bigger and now that realized another one also mentioned that. but there saying to send up a ship with a jaw and eat the trash and shoot it into our atmosphere and let it burn. I also think that is a good idea. But all I now is that we got to clean it up before it becomes a big problem and it is also dangorus if there is a colistion between two space junk item.

I read an article about space junk. Actually 2 articles.

The first 1 was the space junk clean up 1 and it told me about how space junk is bad. It's bad because it's just going to continue to grow. The article also said that after 2055 the space junk will increase.

The second 1 told me about how much space junk there is. The oldest known space junk is the Vangaurd 1. It was in space from 1958. That's a long time. Both of the articles said space junk is a problem.

In class I'm reading a book called The Mysterious Benedict Society its about these four kids who see an ad in the newspaper saying if they were rather gifted and were looking for special opportunities, to come down to some building for special tests.

Well four kids made it and they where Stiky, Raiey, Kate, and Constance. They meet a man named Mr. Benedict and he sends them on a secret mission. I won't tell you any more but its a great book and I recommend it to all readers.

There are a lot of junk just floating around space. Broken satellites, destroyed rocket bodies, human waste, and a glove that was left behind by astronaut ED White during his spacewalk in 1965. I think that it is cool how many random things are floating around space. But I wonder how all that trash got in space. Did it fall out of a satellite or something? Did it float away from someone? Maybe you can help me by answering those questions if you know the answers!

Yesterday I went to Angel Rocks to go hiking with my class. From our school Angel Rocks is about one hour away. It took us about one hour an a half to walk all the way up an about thirty minutes to walk(or jog what i was doing for most of the time) down.

When I saw the first set of big rocks I said, "We are there; that didn't take long," but someone else just had to say " nope we are only like 1/4 of the way there."I was like, this is going to take a long time.

We4 took a break at the first set of rocks. We took pictures, talked, an got something to drink. We had gone a long way up. The break was only 15 minutes long, shorter for some people.

Today we watched a video about ancient Rome!
I am going to tell the story of Romulus and Remus in my own words.

Romulus and Remus were born with a father that was worried that they would steel the throne from him. So Romulus and Remus was ordered to be killed. They were drowned but a mother wolf saved them and nursed them until they were old enough to take care of themselves. When they were older, Romulus killed Remus. His own brother! So that self Romulus being the first king. They named the city Rome in his honor.

I think it was terrible how their father wanted to kill then just so they wouldn't take his throne. I also think it was horrid that Romulus killed his own brother so that he could take the throne! I thought it was amazing how he mother wolf took care of Romulus and Remus!

I read three articles on space junk from National Geographic. The articles said that there is more than 13,000 pieces of space junk that they can track, and millions of smaller ones. They also said that a small piece of trash can get up to speeds of 22,000 mph, which can destroy a satellite if it hits one. About 1 piece of space junk enters the atmosphere and burns up per day.

On March 12,2009 the space station had been threatened by a piece of space junk that had been traveling at about 17,500 miles per hour.

Today I read two articles about space junk. Lemme tell ya: It's reeeeeally hard to rid of. Space junk mostly is created when rockets blow up, or when an existing piece of junk crashes into a fully-functional sattelite, thus smashing into a zillion pieces. Computers back on Earth can track where most of this trash is. But only the clutter that is larger that, say, the size of a grapefruit. The other ka-jillion pieces...well.... we can only hope they won't hurt any astronauts.

On average, one piece of space junk falls from space into Earth's atmosphere per-day. One time, a piece even hit a person on the head, but she was not harmed.

Space junk can consist of anything! From gloves, to tool bags, to chips of paint! And the small things, like chips of paint and just tiny pieces of metal, believe it or not, can be the more life threatening.

When some astronauts are in a rocket, and a piece (miniature) of metal comes flying their way, it could tear a colassal hole right in the rocket, costing the astronauts their lives.

Space junk is piles and piles of trash that is spread all across space and Earth. Scientist say that the space junk in space is posing a threat to space activities. They also say that they is becoming necessary to remove some of the space junk. National Geographic says: "Since the launch of the Soviet Union's Sputnik I satellite in 1957, humans have been generating space junk."

What is space junk and where does it come from, you ask. Well I'll tell you. Have you heard of about astronauts losing camera lenses in space? Well that lense becomes space junk.

All countries should try to help clean up the space, not just us. Scientists are trying to help but its a big job. Space junk can be dangerous too. For instance on March 12, 2009 a small piece of space junk was headed for our space station. They told astronauts to leave the station because that small piece of junk was going 17,000 miles an hour.

Luckily the space station was not harmed. But lots of little pieces make their way though our atmosphere. Once, it hit a women walking down her street. She wasn't harmed, but that's rather scary. I think if we don't get our space cleaned up soon then people will really start getting hurt. Don't you?

I read 2 articles about Space Junk. I hope we can stop it from increasing. The first article I read was about cleaning up the space junk. I liked what they thought would help astronauts. My second article was the big problem the space junk is causing. I thought it was good.

today I read a story about space junk. It was a interesting article. The article said that there are more than 2,800 pieces of junk in the earth's gravity. The space station would test their new weapons on the old satellites. China also does this.

I read another article online that say that there is 13,000 pieces of space junk in earth's gravity. That's a lot of junk. The oldest piece of space junk is the 1958 Vanguard 1 research satellite, which stopped all functions in 1964.

These two sites each didn't have the same information. Like one said 2,800 an the other says 13,000 pieces of space junk. so one is off like 10,200 pieces of space junk or they are both wrong an it's more or less. That is a lot.

I just finished reading an article "Space Junk." It told me that in space, there is space junk because of all the rocket stages, parts from blown up satellites, human waste, and human made space junk. They want to remove the junk so they don't hit satellites and ruin them.

One of the articles said that there was 2,000 pieces of space junk. My "National Geographic" book says that there are now 300,000 pieces of space junk traveling the earth's atmosphere. The other article said that there was 13,000 pieces, including Edward White's space glove from when he lost it in his moon walk in '65. It said that his glove went around the earth at least 28,000 times until it blew up. There are also 2,500 satellites working and non-working in space.

Vanguard 1 is still in orbit and is the oldest piece of satellite space trash. A 100,000 tool bag was found in space and you could see it from a telescope. The scientists want to shoot space junk with lasers so then they could move the litter from the satellites, but if they do shoot it away it would come right back because of the Earth's orbit.

I hate my cast. It is very uncomfortable because you can't scratch or play basketball with it on. It started at recess where I fell down on my arm, and I broke it. It ended my day.

I had to go to the hospital. They said it wasn't very bad, but still bad. I got to watch ESPN. When the hospital was done I went home. I didn't have a very good nights sleep. I think I missed school the day after I got my wrist helper thing. I went to school after the day I missed school, and had fun. After a time I got a blue thing on my wrist.

Now I'm where I'm at. On Wednesday I'm getting another blue thing on my wrist. I sure hope I don't get it. I want to play in the championship.

When I get the cast off I'll be happy. I've been in pain for awhile. I want the pain to go away.

Now that's why I hate my blue thing on my wrist.

The satellites show that Greenland's ice is melting and that if it does than a lot of places around the world will be gone. It also shows some other things, too, that is really bad. like the change in the temperature or the change in the fossil fuel gathered each year.

Last Thursday our class went on a field trip to our local college. When we first got on campus a lady took us to our first class. I don't know her name but she was nice. Our first class was the heart class, where we dissected cows' and pigs' hearts. I was partnered up with Jack and Marcelo. I was suprised Jack was more grossed out than I was.

After that we went straight to lunch which is kinda ironic because we dissected cow hearts and I had a hamburger which is made from cow. There was a really long line for food though so I had to eat really fast because there was only like 30 min to eat and I wasted 20 of those min getting my food and finding a place to eat. I no what a bummer.

Next we went to a class that they called career exploration. The woman tried to help us choose what we wanted to be, which I thought was stupid, because I already know what I want to be. I'm going to be a trial lawyer.

The last thing we did was we took a quick tour of the campus and dorms which are really small. Then we got on the bus and road home. But we didn't go without souvenirs; they gave us backpacks full of snacks, books, toys, and other cool stuff. They also gave us t-shirts. It was cool because they were white so we got a whole bunch of people sign them. I can't wait to get to college. I'm really looking forward to it but not so much the small dorm part. =)

This past weekend was really hectic. I went to a Glonrytoyyrtgame and there was also softball tryouts. This is how I started my week.

On Friday afternoon Jenna, and Tana spent the night. We did some crazy things. Jenna and Tana were playing just dance on the Wii. It was really fun and they looked weird too. The next day Saturday, to be exact, was softball tryouts. I was #22 in the line. I got done early so I got to stay and help. Jenna got hungry so she left the gym to go to the vending machine. It was a tiring day. When we got back we went for a walk and then sadly, I broke my phone. :( I was just walking and then it just randomly broke. It was very disappointing.

On Sunday I went to the Harlem Globetrotters game. It was a fake game, but it was funny. At the game I saw Rose and some other people. The Globetrotters were playing "The Washington Generals". When I was sitting with Rose we got water all over us. They also pulled off one of the other guys whole uniform. It was really funny and I got my ball signed by all of the players.

After the game, Rose went home with me and we went to various different places. My mom took us to Safeway, Radio Shack, AT&T, and Walmart. It was really fun until Rose left at like 7. This is what happened in my crazy messed up week.

Last week, my class went to the University Of Alaska Fairbanks! I thought it was really fun! There was only two things I didn't like about that field trip! I didn't feel so good because of my allergies! I have been outside too much. I also didn't like how the lunch room was so crowded. There was way too much people in there. Lots of kids from all different school. I had a headache just walking around. I did enjoy the food though!

I had some french fries and I had some ice cream. I got the last scoop before the ice cream machine broke down! I got signatures from...some people. I didn't really know who they were; I just saw a lot of people getting their autographs, so I thought I would get in line to get them too!

Before that we were cutting open a cow heart! I felt really sick after that. Plus I felt sick before that so that wasn't to much fun for me.

Then, we walked up this really steep hill. It seemed like forever but we finally made it to the top! We took a break on some benches then we started to walk again. We went to this building; then we entered a classroom! We learned about what kind of career we want when we grow up! I want to be a vet. There was all different kinds of careers that different people wanted. I was surprised.

After that, we went to go see what a dorm was like. I loved the dorm. It was nicely decorated and it was pretty cute! I thought it was pretty cool!

Finally, we walked back to meet the buses! That was quite a crazy day and I'm glad I made it throughout the day.

I am a very good reader. I think that I have gotten better at reading than before the school year started. I finally finished my first book series; it is called Leven Thumps. Leven Thumps is a 5-book series.

Right now I am reading Fablehaven. It is a 4-book series, and I am on the first book. I love series books because the same story can go on, and on, through 4,5,6 books... maybe even more.

Reading is fun, and if you like magic or adventure then I say that Leven Thumps and Fablehaven are good books that you would love.

Today we had an assembly at our school, and at the assembly, one of the players from the Harlem Globetrotters was here. His name is Dizzy Grant. He was given this nickname because people say that when he dribbles the basketball it tends to make some people dizzy, so that is why they call him Dizzy Grant!

At the assembly Dizzy talked to us about the word C.H.E.E.R, and each letter stands for a certain word.

C means cooperation, because when you cooperate things are much easier!

H stand for healthy mind and body. Dizzy was telling us how that it is important to have a healthy mind and body because if yo don't you could get very sick and you would not be able to do the thing that you like to do, so it is very important to have a healthy mind and body.

E stand for enthusiastic. When you are doing something important it is always important to try your best and give 100%!!!

The second E in C.H.E.E.R means effort. Dizzy said that you should always make an effort to do your best in anything that you do, because when you make an effort you will eventually succeed!

And last the R stand for responsibility. It is always important to be responsible because when you are responsible people are able to trust you and that gives you a lot more freedom!

Dizzy, from The Harlem Globetrotters, came to our school today and and talked about the Globetrotters motto C.H.E.E.R. Which means cooperation, healthy body and mind, effort, enthusiasm, and responsibility.

After Dizzy left, my class researched the Globetrotters and I found out that the Globetrotters started in 1926.

When I got back to Alaska, I did not like reading that much. It was a hard thing for me to get down but now I like to read to my self. I read two book this year and the names are Diary of a Wimpy Kid III and IV. the books where good and funny, but books are hard for me to find that I like. But The thing I hated the most is when the teacher would ask us to read in the front of the class.
